Bulgaria is a preferred destination for many Romanian tourists. Usually, they arrive in our country by bus or own transport. However, from this year, from 14/06 to 14/10, guests from Romania will now be able to travel to our country by train from Bucharest. The line is Bucharest – Istanbul/Halkalฤฑ and includes Varna.
The train is operated by the national railway company CFR. Tickets are already on sale. The ticket price in second class is 31 euros. The train will depart from Bucharest at 10:47 local (and Bulgarian time) and will arrive in our maritime capital at 20:00.
Important note: The advance purchase period for international train tickets is 90 days. They can be purchased from the stations of the national railway company CFR, as well as from travel agencies open to international traffic, and online at https://bileteinternationale. cfrcalatori.ro/.
